THON Weekend is filled with energy, joy and purpose. For 46 hours, dancers stand in the Bryce Jordan Center without sitting or sleeping — all For The Kids®. While THON Weekend brings thousands together, not every Four Diamonds child or teen is able to attend due to ongoing cancer treatment.

To help bridge that gap and spread joy from near and far, THON and Four Diamonds Art Therapy partnered to create something special: stickers designed by patients themselves.

Four Diamonds art therapists invited patients to create doodles inspired by what motivates them, brings them comfort or makes them smile. These drawings were transformed into stickers sold through THON, allowing children who can’t be in the BJC to still be part of the weekend and part of the magic.

Why Art Therapy Matters

A portion of the funds raised through THON supports art therapy at Penn State Health Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Art therapy is a clinically guided practice led by trained therapists who use creative tools, such as drawing, painting and sculpting, to help children express their emotions, cope with treatment and build resilience. Grounded in therapeutic techniques, art therapy provides patients and families with a shared space to process feelings, connect and communicate when words fall short.

These stickers are a small but meaningful way for patients to share their creativity and be part of THON Weekend.

Delaney’s Sticker: “Bee Positive”

Four Diamonds teen Delaney was diagnosed with leukemia at age 15 and is currently in active treatment. Throughout her cancer journey, she’s lived by one mantra: “Bee Positive.”

Inspired by that message, Delaney created a doodle of a bee featuring her mantra. The phrase began as a meaningful play on words, coined by her lacrosse team, because Delaney has B positive blood and B-cell leukemia. What started as a slogan quickly became something her entire family embraced as they navigated treatment together.

Cancer has brought many challenges for Delaney and her loved ones, but “Bee Positive” serves as a constant reminder of strength, optimism and resilience. Her sticker encourages THON dancers to stay positive, even during the toughest moments of the weekend.

Westin’s Sticker: Keep Pushin’ On

Westin, a Four Diamonds child, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at eight years old. Over the past year, he spent countless days in and out of the hospital and completed the final phase of his treatment in November 2025.

Westin loves being outdoors and enjoys building and creating with his toys. For his sticker, he chose to draw a bulldozer, a symbol of strength and determination, just like him.

“Even when cancer makes things hard, I just keep pushin’ on,” Westin shared.

His sticker serves as a powerful reminder to THON dancers to keep pushing forward, no matter how long the weekend feels.

Emmett’s Sticker: A Monster with a Big Heart

When Four Diamonds child Emmett was eight years old, he was diagnosed with leukemia. Just one weekend before his diagnosis, his Elf on the Shelf brought home a new friend named Eddie.

Eddie is a fuggler, a funny-ugly monster, and he’s been by Emmett’s side throughout treatment. Eddie has gone to the operating room, sat through port accesses and even worn bandages of his own.

Emmett’s sticker features Eddie and is meant to bring smiles to THON dancers throughout the weekend with a lighthearted reminder of the comfort that comes from companionship and imagination.

More Stickers Designed by Four Diamonds Patients

Four Diamonds patients Kyrie and Nilah also created stickers available for purchase through THON. Kyrie’s sticker features a playful drawing of a dog that’s sure to bring a smile to dancers’ faces, while Nilah’s flower design adds a little happiness and cheer to the weekend.

Small Stickers, Big Impact

The stickers created by Four Diamonds children and teens may be small, but their impact is powerful. They travel far beyond THON Weekend on water bottles, laptops and computers and spark conversations wherever they go.

When you own a sticker designed by a Four Diamonds patient, you become a storyteller. You help share the mission of THON and the life-changing impact it has on children and families facing childhood cancer.

Stickers are available for purchase at store.thon.org during THON Weekend, February 20th-22nd.
